As warm weather continues to blanket us, outdoor dining has become not just a way to survive, but also a way for customers to have an experience outside the confines of their home/office.
The toasty temperatures, creative outdoor dining set ups and limited time menu specials have enticed customers to visit their neighborhood restaurants.
Each week we notice more and more businesses that have added many features to their outdoor dining spaces. It is this creativity and determination to succeed that constantly amazes us.
Update Your Online Listings
If you offer Take-Out, Delivery and Patio/Outdoor Dining, make sure it is clear on your website, Google My Business site, and Social Media pages.
A good trick is to keep your company bios and profiles current with what you are offering. For example, instead of just using the same paragraph about your restaurant on your Instagram profile, update it to include your revised hours, what part of the restaurant is open in relation to Covid-19 restrictions, and provide a link to menus, etc. Removing the guesswork for your customers is absolutely essential.
If you utilize Contactless Point of Sale technology, this is something you can also share as it can put your customers at ease about going out.
