It is a tourist destination, includes a major shipping port and the area’s growth has led it to be a booming metropolitan area full of restaurants, hotels and attractions. With the desire to expand to a West Coast city outside of the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle and the Puget Sound seemed like a natural fit.
