Learn more about Kelly and what makes her a rock star below.
Tell us about your professional background prior to joining The City POS: I have a B.A. in Communications and over 17 years of Operations and Office Management experience. My background in Accounting, Human Resources and Administrative Management has given me the opportunity to get an in-depth view of the inner-workings of many companies and what has led to their success.
When and how did you join The City POS?
Justin approached me a little over a year ago about this job position. The City POS was growing quickly and he needed someone to be in the office and manage the day to day aspects of the company.
What do you most enjoy about working at The City POS? I have always worked in a fast paced environment, but more in an individual role, in a quiet office, sitting behind a computer. What I enjoy most about The City POS is working daily with our customers, employees and partners. Nothing is better than collaborating and problem solving with a group of people you enjoy being around.
What sets The City POS apart from the competition? Our customer service. We provide amazing customer service and are always thinking of ways to make it even better.
Outside of work, what do you like to do? I love being with my kids. Being a full-time working mom and wife, my extra time is dedicated to my kids and their activities. We are a “sporty” family so we spend our evenings and weekends on soccer fields, baseball fields and basketball courts. Once the kids are asleep I like to clean, weird, I know, but it is therapeutic to me.
Favorite Food? Ice Cream.
Favorite Restaurant with and without kids: With kids- KIN Smoke. Without kids- Bird & The Bottle
Giants or Dodgers: Giants!
Frozen Yogurt or Ice Cream: BOTH!
Favorite Quote: People don’t always remember what you tell them, but they always remember the way you make them feel.
Favorite Book: The Nightingale
Favorite TV Show: Grey’s Anatomy
How would people describe you? I would hope they would say I was friendly and caring.
We would definitely say that about you Kelly! We love having you on our team and appreciate everything you have done for us in the last year.
